Hellbrunn Zoo

Living there are over 400 animals - from the heavy-weight African rhino to the European dwarf mouse. Also impressive are the free-flying griffon vultures.
And awaiting the youngest visitors is a petting zoo.

Dachstein Sky Walk and Ice Palace

  • Skywalk: Probably the most spectacular lookout platform anywhere in the Alps affords incomparable views of the surrounding mountain world, located right next to the summit terminal of the Dachstein cable car. Part of the floor is made out of glass - allowing you to gaze down below your feet at the steep, 250 m cliff face of the Hunerkogel.
  • Ice Palace: A fascinating world of ice, light and sound in the heart of the glacier reveals itself to you just a 3-minute walk from the lift summit station. Marvel at ice sculptures with themes such as "Ice Age" or look straight into a natural glacial crevasse.
 

Salt Worlds in Hallein

The small train will take you in miner's clothing into the mine galleries. A miner will explain the history of salt mining and mining techniques in general here in the Dürrnberg. Surrounded by mystical sounds, you will glide on a raft across the famous subterranean salt lake.

Toy Museum in Salzburg
