Family-friendly footpaths and hiking routes also turn your hiking getaway into an unforgettable holiday experience for your children as well. For those who would prefer to conquer our alpine world by mountain bike, we have a broad network of mountain-bike trails available. And you can borrow bicycles free of charge from right here at the hotel. Hike from one hill farm to the next during Harvest Festival in Salzburg: At one of the many regional festivals, experience traditional local customs and succumb to the temptations of our delicious farmhouse specialties!

From now on you can go with your HIKING-BUS-CARD (free of charge at the hotel) for one euro to your hiking destination or after the hike back to the hotel.

Tauernkaralm and Tauernkarsee

Also belonging to our hotel are the Tauernkaralm in Obertauern and the Tauernkaralmsee (9 km away).

Once a week we hike with our guests up to our mountain hut, where we treat ourselves to a pleasant, delicious grill party - sometimes even with suckling pig.

The Tauernkaralm is staffed from Whitsuntide until the beginning of October.

For those who prefer to conquer the mountain world by mountain bike, there is an extensive mountain bike trail. Rental bikes can be borrowed at our hotel free of charge.
