INTRODUCING OURSELVES...

The Kohlmayr family has been firmly anchored in the "Post" in Untertauern since the year 1844.

In 2005, Sissi and Gustav senior handed over the business to the 6th generation. Since then, the fortunes of the hotel in beautiful SalzburgerLand have been in the hands of Gustl and Irene. And with the youngest Kohlmayrs, Valentina and Leonhard, the next generation of honest hospitality is already waiting in the wings!

IRENE

What would the "Post" be without its "boss"?

Reception is her "territory" and Irene always has the right solution ready, even for difficult requests.

She is also passionate about "Pfandln" in the kitchen - so culinary delights are guaranteed!

...and if mum is needed, well, where would we be without our boss ;-)

GUSTL

Gustl's Hobby: Multitasking!

Whether as a hiking guide in summer, at tobogganing evenings or torchlight hikes in winter - it's always fun with our boss!

As master of the Post wine cellar, he takes you on a weekly tour through the world of Austrian wine and is also happy to advise you in the restaurant.

Yet, Gustl is not only to be found IN the "Post" but also AROUND it. Looking after our farm and the wildlife park right up to the Tauernkaralm is not just his "hobby", but literally "a matter for the boss" :-)

VALENTINA & LEONHARD

Valentina was born in 2016 and just two years later, in November 2018, little brother Leo completed our family bliss.

Where would we be without our "grandma"?

You can never have enough helping hands! Anyone who has ever been a guest at the "Post" knows that a holiday without Sissi's Topfenstrudel is simply not a real holiday.
