Half-day tour - Bachlalm

Hike Description:
Next to Intersport Flory you will hike along the road until, shortly beyond the "Buschhäusl",  a narrow path to the left and a bridge take you across the Hammerbach. Continue along the road as far as Gästehaus Herrmann. Here you will either take the shortcut, which leads to the right of Gästehaus Herrmann and uphill along a steep forest path until, at a cattle grid, you come back to the road in front of the Reithof.
Your hike is a little easier if you continue on the road to Gasthof Reithof – with splendid views of Filzmoos. Before Gasthof Reithof, branch off to the right and follow the paved road to the Weitenhaushof. Direclty next to the Weitenhaus, you will branch off to the right and hike along a moderately steep forestry lane, past a small pond to the Weitenhausalm. From the Weitenhausalm, you initially follow the forestry road, making a right after the first curve. The narrow footpath takes you steadily uphill across open alpine pastures as far as the Nösslerriedel (1,645 m). Greeting you at the Nösslerriedel is your first view of the Dachstein massif. To the left, above a small hunter's hut, you will hike along the path across open alpine pastures and down to the Bachlalm (ca. 30-minute walk).
From the Bachlalm, you can either walk or ride the hiking bus back to Filzmoos.
