Don't miss out an amazing winter holiday ;-)
Corona, Covid19 – no matter how you name it, will still be a topic for all of us this winter.
But one thing is certain. We will do our absolute best to offer YOU a great, relaxing, and above all, a safe holiday with us at “Hotel Post”.
Recently, we have received numerous
questions regarding any upcoming Covid19 restrictions for this winter. Following,
we want to provide you some updates about the current situation:
- CANCELLATION POLICY
We have adjusted our cancellation policy for the winter season 2021/22. If your arrival or stay is not possible due to official measures or illnesses in correlation with Covid19 (medical certificate required), your stay can be canceled free of charge up to 1 day before arrival. Otherwise, our usual cancellation policy applies.
OUR RECOMMENDATION: Covid19 related cancellations will be fully covered by the insurance Europäische Reiseversicherung
Calculate and book your premium here online.
Furthermore, if your credit card includes travel insurance, please also check with your insurance provider, if Covid19 related travel cancellations are fully covered.
During the summer season, all of our guests were able to enjoy a relaxing holiday with us. Despite the high number of guests, we are grateful that we did not have a single Covid19 infection. We have put much thought into our sanitary measures to ensure you a safe and pleasant holiday at all times.
- HYGIENE & DESINFECTION
Cleanliness and hygiene have always been a top priority in our hotel. In addition to our common cleaning activities, we are disinfecting all commonly used areas on a high frequency. Furthermore, dispensers for hand disinfection will be set up in the reception, wellness, bathroom, and restaurant/bar areas.
- Gastronomy and accommodation
Level 1: The 3-G rule has been in effect since September 15: guests must present a valid negative test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery. It should be noted that the period of validity of the antigen tests has been shortened from 48 to 24 hours.
From level 2, antigen tests with self-acceptance ("living room tests") are no longer permitted as evidence of admission.
If level 3 comes into force, rapid antigen tests (e.g. test street or pharmacies) are no longer valid as proof of access. Therefore, a valid negative PCR test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery is now considered as proof of entry.
Measures going beyond level 3 - in particular restrictions for the unvaccinated - will be carried out in line with the general measures.
Après-ski and night gastronomy
In general, the same rules apply to après-ski as to night-time gastronomy. At level 1, guests must show a valid negative PCR test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery. Antibody detection or an antigen test are not sufficient.
For night gastronomy and après-ski establishments, the 2-G rule (vaccinated and convalescent - no tests as evidence) will be introduced from level 2.
The following applies at the lift ...
85 percent of the cable cars are open vehicles with a lower risk of infection and a journey time of less than 15 minutes.
The 3-G rule applies in the ski areas for the coming winter:
Visitors must always carry the valid 3-G certificate with them and present it as part of random checks. The obligation to wear an FFP2 mask remains.
The following restrictions will be eased on 1 July:
- No more mandatory closing time for restaurants, i.e. night clubs can reopen
- No minimum distance between groups of guests
- No more mask requirement in restaurants and hotels
- Regular (cloth) masks are sufficient on public transport, in museums and shops
- Testing requirement for children 12+ only
- No more capacity restrictions at events
- We will provide more information as it becomes available.
- Please note: The following information has been researched with the utmost care. However, we can provide no guarantee of accuracy.
- WELLNESS AREA
What is better than having a little “wellness” session after a day of skiing/snowboarding? To be able to enjoy our wellness area, we will extend the opening time to 9pm. Therefore, our guests can also visit our wellness area after dinner.
Despite the social distancing, we kindly ask our guests to use their “mask” while checking-in and checking-out.
We appeal to the individual responsibility
of each guest:
- Please use a mouth and nose mask if necessary
- Please keep your social distance
- Please report the first signs of malaise or illness symptoms to the reception
- Please wash your hands regularly with soap and use disinfected
