Tauernkaralm mountain hut and Lake Tauernkarsee

Once a week we organise a hike to the alm hut where guests are rewarded with a jovial barbecue or spit-roast suckling pig.

The Tauernkar alm hut is run as a restaurant from Whitsun to the beginning of October.

“Inclusive” children’s activity programme During the school holidays (9.7.-4.9.2011) child-minding and a children’s activity programme is offered 3 times a week from 1 to 6 pm. The Children’s Animal, Adventure and Amusement park - "Kinderabenteuerland" belongs to the hotel and is only 300 m away wildlife Park with over 50 animals playground, sandpit, camp with campfire children’s fishing ponds pony and Haflinger horse riding football pitch, tennis, Beach volleyball go-kart track swimming lake with sunny and peaceful bathing lawns boat rides ride with the kiddies train hiking route to Taurach Gorge 2 play rooms in the hotel for older and younger children with wii play station, bar football, table tennis, Lego play area indoor children’s zoo in the barn with rabbits, guinea pigs, cats; children can help around the barn
